From one dog lover to another…

You need a trainer who knows it’s not just about the commands—you want to build a strong, secure relationship with your dog.

Helping dogs since 2003

Hi, I’m Pam, your straight-to-the-point, your-dog-is-not-the-problem, we-can-do-this-together dog trainer.

And I get it. You want your dog to be your best friend, not a constant source of stress and anxiety.

You want a dog that you can take to the park without worrying they won’t come when you call, or a dog you can introduce to visitors without shooing them away as they start biting ankles.

I’m not the type to beat around the bush. I know dogs, and I know people, and I want to make it as easy as possible for you to succeed.

So if you want a trainer who will tell you honestly what it will take to earn trust in your dog, you’ve come to the right place.

It all started with a Doberman…

…and a 90 pound teenager who had to find a way to keep him under control.

I loved my first Dobie with all my heart, but I could see all the nervous glances he got when we went on walks.

I knew he needed some serious training if we were going to prove all of those scared strangers wrong. As we learned more and more together, he grew to be one of the most gentle and well behaved giants I’ve ever known.

But I know if I hadn’t had the tools to train him like I did, we might have had to re-home him, or worse, he could have really hurt somebody. And that’s why I am so passionate about what I do.

Dogs are family, and family sticks together. Training may take some work, but it keeps you all happily together, and that’s what counts in the end.

Is there anything else you should know about me, other than the dog stuff?

Ducks. I’m a sucker for watching ducks. As long as your dog has the shots and confidence, I can guarantee we will be going to the park to sit with the ducks.

I also have chickens in my backyard. So maybe I’m a bird person?

I start every morning with a big bowl of cottage cheese, and no I won’t share with any dog no matter how cute their begging face is.

I have grandkids up in Washington, but I won’t force you to look at cute pictures of them (unless you ask).

Wondering how we can work together?

I feel like I've been doing a lot of the talking…

If you’re ready to tell me you and your dog’s story, I’m ready to listen.
